Lunchtime Recitals From 20-25 August, Thormod Rønning Kvam will be performing a series of daily public lunchtime and afternoon recitals as resident pianist at the picturesque Troldhaugen — Edvard Grieg’s beautiful home and museum outside Bergen.
This year he is bringing two programmes for his residency: The recitals at 13:00 bring to focus Grieg’s romantic song transcriptions, while the 17:00 recitals (15:00 during the weekend) centre around Grieg’s inspiration from folk music — including the monumental Ballade in G minor.
